Getting started
How do I start?
Open Erphele in your browser or download the app, and sign in with Apple or Google. Your first agent is ready to talk.
Where does it work?
In the browser at app.erphele.com, on Mac, Windows and Linux, and on iPhone and iPad. One account, the same agents and the same space everywhere.
Can I use it in Arabic?
Yes. The app, the agents and this site work in English and Arabic. Agents answer in the language you write in.
Agents
What can an agent do?
Chat, search the web, remember what matters, run routines at the times you pick, make docs, sheets, decks, notes, lists and sites, and work with other agents. Ask it what it can do and it shows you.
Will an agent act without asking?
Sending, publishing and anything on your computer asks first. You can choose what is always allowed in Settings, under Approvals. Pause everything stops every agent and routine at once.
How do I change what an agent remembers?
Ask it what it remembers, or open Settings, then Memory. Erase any fact there, or tell the agent to forget it. A private chat keeps nothing.
A routine didn't run. What happened?
Open the agent's routines and look at the history: it says when a run was held back and why (paused, outside the agent's hours, the month used up). Run now runs it once, right away.
Your space
Where is what my agents make?
In your space: docs, sheets, decks, notes, lists, the calendar and sites. A card in the chat opens the thing it made.
Can I undo an agent's change?
Yes. Each document keeps its history, and an agent's edit can be undone from the document.
Who can see my sites and documents?
Only you, until you share one. A published site is public at its address, and a shared document opens for the people you give the link to.
Calls
How do calls work?
Start a call from an agent's chat and talk it through. What the agent makes during the call shows on screen, and the call's record lands in the chat when you hang up.
The agent can't hear me.
Allow the microphone for Erphele in your browser or system settings, then start the call again.
Plans and billing
Is Erphele free?
Yes, the Free plan stays free. Pro and Max add more agents, messages, sites and call minutes. The pricing page lists everything.
How do I upgrade, change or cancel a plan?
On the web or the desktop app, open Settings, then Usage and billing. Payments go through Polar, which sends your receipts. A canceled plan keeps working until the period you paid for ends.
Why can't I upgrade on my iPhone?
Plans are bought on the web or the desktop app. Once you upgrade there, the iPhone app has it too.
Privacy and your data
Can I take my data with me?
Yes. Open Settings, then Data and privacy, and download your chats, memories, agents, routines and files as a zip.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings, then General. It removes your account and everything in it. The privacy page says what is kept and for how long.
Can a web page or an email give my agent orders?
No. What an agent reads from outside is treated as information, never as instructions, and anything that sends or publishes still asks you first.
Desktop app
How do I install it?
On a Mac, open the file and drag Erphele into Applications. On Windows, run the installer: it installs for you only. On Linux, use the AppImage or the package.
Windows says it doesn't know the app.
The Windows build isn't signed yet, so Windows warns once. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
How does it update?
By itself. It asks you to restart when a new version is ready.
